Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see a module in the sidebar, or a button on a page?

Your role doesn't allow it. Ask your administrator to add the permission to your role. See Roles & Permissions.

Why can't I create a package from the Packages screen?

Packages are always created from an itinerary. Open the itinerary and click Create package. The same applies to quotations: open the package and click Generate quotation.

The Generate quotation button is missing on a package.

The package needs a selling price, and it must be Draft or Quotation Sent. Edit the package to set the selling price. A confirmed package can't get new quotations.

I can't edit a package.

Only Draft and Quotation Sent packages can be edited. Once a quotation is accepted, the package is confirmed and its price is fixed.

I accepted the wrong quotation. Can I undo it?

No. Accepting bills the customer's ledger, and it can't be reversed or deleted. Contact your system administrator.

Why isn't a package listed when I record a payment?

Payments can only be recorded against Confirmed or Completed packages that still have money outstanding. Accept the package's quotation first.

I entered a payment wrongly. How do I fix it?

Payments can't be edited. Delete the payment, which also reverses it in the ledger, then record it again with the right details.

Why can't I delete a city, hotel or travel type?

It is used by a hotel or an itinerary. Edit it and switch Active off instead. It stays on old records but can no longer be chosen.

Why can't I delete a customer, inquiry, itinerary or package?

Records with work linked to them can't be deleted, so history isn't lost:

  • Customer: has inquiries, itineraries or packages
  • Inquiry: has itineraries. Cancel it instead.
  • Itinerary: has packages
  • Package: has quotations or payments. Mark it cancelled instead.
How do I remove a staff member?

Users can't be deleted. Disable their account under Users. They are signed out immediately.

Does the customer need an account to see their quotation?

No. The Share link opens the quotation and its PDF without signing in.
