Document numbers

Prefix	Document	Created when
`CUS`	Customer	A customer is added
`STK`	Bike stock record	A bike is received
`SE`	Stock entry	A supplier delivery is recorded
`SAL`	Bike sale / quotation	A sale or quotation is saved
`INV`	Sale invoice	A sale is confirmed
`RCP`	Payment receipt	A payment is recorded
`JC`	Job card	A vehicle is checked into the workshop
`EST`	Service estimate	An estimate is created
`SINV`	Service invoice	A job is billed

Numbers run in sequence, for example INV-000001, INV-000002. Prefixes can be changed in Showroom Settings.

Term	Meaning
Chassis / VIN	The bike's frame number (Vehicle Identification Number), unique to each bike.
Ex-showroom price	The bike's price at the showroom, including GST but before insurance and registration.
On-road price	The total the customer pays to ride away: ex-showroom plus insurance, RTO registration and other charges.
RTO	Regional Transport Office: vehicle registration charges collected on its behalf.
GST / GSTIN	Goods and Services Tax / the 15-character GST registration number.
CGST + SGST	Central and State GST, each half of the total GST, shown separately for in-state sales.
Taxable value	The amount GST is calculated on.
Quotation	A draft sale used as a price quote. It does not reserve or sell the bike.
Job card	The workshop record of one service visit.
Estimate	A detailed parts-and-labour quote for a job, approved by the customer.
Reversal	Undoing a payment with a reason, instead of deleting it.
Outstanding	Money customers still owe on confirmed sales and service invoices.
Super Admin	The owner account, which can do everything.
Role / Permission	A role is a set of permissions; each permission allows one kind of action.
