What is MotoDesk?
MotoDesk is the all-in-one software for running a two-wheeler showroom and workshop. It keeps every bike, customer, sale, service job, spare part and payment in one place, so your whole team works from the same up-to-date information.
Each showroom gets its own private MotoDesk installation. You open it in a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox) on a computer, laptop or tablet. Nothing needs to be installed on staff computers.

What you can do
| Area | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Bike stock | Receive bikes from suppliers, track each one by chassis and engine number, and know which bikes are available, reserved or sold. |
| Sales | Make quotations, sell bikes with accessories, insurance and RTO, print GST invoices and track what each customer still owes. |
| Customers & vehicles | Keep customer profiles, documents, the bikes they own and their complete purchase and service history. |
| Workshop | Open job cards, prepare estimates, get customer approval, track every job from reception to delivery, and bill parts and labour. |
| Spare parts | Keep a parts catalogue with stock levels, minimum stock alerts and a full movement history. |
| Payments | Record payments by cash, UPI, card, bank, cheque or finance, print receipts and follow up on outstanding dues. |
| Reports | Sales, stock, service and finance reports with date filters and Excel (CSV) export. |
| Control | Staff roles and permissions, a complete audit log of every change and a record of every sign-in. |
How the pieces fit together
MotoDesk follows the way a showroom already works. There are two main journeys:
Selling a bike
- Receive bikes from a supplier. Each bike gets a stock number (
STK-…). - Create a sale for a customer, starting as a quotation (
SAL-…) if you like. - Confirm the sale. MotoDesk gives it an invoice number (
INV-…) and marks the bike as sold. - Collect payments (
RCP-…) until the balance is zero. - Mark it delivered. The bike is added to the customer's vehicles, ready for future service.
Servicing a bike
- Open a job card (
JC-…) when the customer brings the vehicle in. - Prepare an estimate (
EST-…) and record the customer's approval. - Track the work through inspection, work in progress, waiting for parts and quality check.
- Generate the service invoice (
SINV-…). The parts used are taken out of stock automatically. - Collect payment and deliver the vehicle.
Everything links together. Open any customer to see their bikes, invoices, service jobs and what they still owe, all on one page.
Finding your way around
- Left sidebar. The main menu, grouped into Sales, Inventory, Workshop, Payments, Reports and Settings. You only see the menus your role allows, so a mechanic sees far fewer items than the owner.
- Top right. Your name and role. Click it to open My profile or Sign out.
- Page header. The page title, a breadcrumb trail (for example Workshop › Job Cards › JC-000001) and the main buttons for that page.
- Lists. Every list has a search box, filters and sortable columns, and splits long lists into pages.
- Help & Guide. The last item in the sidebar opens this guide in a new tab.
How to use this guide
- If you are setting up MotoDesk for the first time, start with Setting Up a New Showroom.
- If you are a staff member, read Daily Workflows by Role to see the screens you will use most.
- Use the search button (magnifying glass, top right) to jump to any topic.
- Each page lists who can use the screen. If you cannot see a menu item described here, your role does not include it. Ask your showroom owner.
The screenshots in this guide use a sample showroom called "Sunrise Motors". Your screens will show your own showroom name, logo and data.
